Life's Purpose

Why are people confused about their Life's Purpose?

Passion

I have observed 60% of the time, that passion lacks in what people do for a living. There is this sense of wanting to do something else, but conditioning, earning a living and commitments make people go on endlessly doing the things they dislike till such a time, they feel, they are ready to take an early retirement to pursue the passion(s) of their dreams.

Do you really pursue only one passion?

Thanks to Margaret Lobenstine’s book 'Renaissance Soul', where she identifies people who cannot do the same thing for years. That is, staying in the same vertical, from an intern to a CEO.There are these other souls who seem to not be able to do the same kind of work after they have mastered it. Like butterflies, sucking the nectar from one flower to another. But because of conditioning and the weightage given to being in the same job for 10, 15, 25 years some people stick on doing the same kind of work, ending up in frustration, losing passion for life and end up asking what might be their Life’s Purpose?

Sometimes I wonder, do we really need these long years to master something? We have advanced in so many ways, communication system has radically changed, bringing instant information at your fingertips. The learning process has changed too. Learning has shifted to online digital platforms, with a click of a button, knowledge is available. With careful planning, this knowledge can be implemented to the physical reality, gaining experience that does not require 10 to 25 years to establish domain expertise.

Our perceptions need to change, where sticking in a vertical for years is concerned. We no longer need to look at someone with 25 years of experience more able than someone with 5 to 10 years of experience. If that be the case, then can the Soul not try different things that attracts the person, after a period of say 5 years or so? It is possible to have multiple passions over a long period of time? Being able to carry on with multiple passions all at one time, obviously can be challenging, but to space it out over period of 10, 15, or 25 years is a big possibility.

The ‘Passion to purpose’ phrase that is trending these days, may need to include “Multiple Passions to Multiple Purposes”. These Souls are the multi-talented, who thrive when they do many different, not related things. This is what gives them their purpose. Variation.

What about the rest struggling with their Life’s Purpose? We as a species overthink purpose. Wisdom from the Akashic Records, implies that there is really no mandate from the some imagined higher ups! We are all divine beings, whose soul’s chose their experiences here on earth. So then, why can’t we remember what we chose? – (those Soul’s with one dominant energy centre). Fear. Fear is the number one deterrent and bad planning the second. There are others who can’t figure out what their passion is. For these souls I highly recommend the ‘Passion to Purpose’ test available in a session with me. I tap into your Akashic Records, find what your soul chose as an experience here on Earth (if you are not off aligned – you will resonate with it) and tell you what your natural gifts are (which makes it easier for you to achieve success), herein lies your passionto align to what your Soul Chose.
